FMSCA Issues Regional Hours of Service Waiver

FMSCA has issued a Regional Emergency Declaration waiving the hours of service requirements for the transportation of propane as well as other commodities. This declaration includes the entire state of Oklahoma and is in effect until January 31, 2025.

The states affected are: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, & Wyoming

The Oklahoma Propane Education and Safety Council will pay you up to $1,000.00 for each new home (up to 3) completed between January 1 and December 31, 2024, if you include propane appliances.
